I came across the pictures of Shirley's designs while wandering around Facebook completely by chance, but from the first moment it was clear to me that when the time came, she would design our home. And behold, the dream slowly became a reality, and today we live in it, living inside a dream. In such a complex and complicated process, of building a house from scratch, a process that has its own language, and requires lots of small and big decisions with lots of small details, you were a kind of anchor, a support, a listening ear for our hesitations and advice, always available and attentive. From the beginning you told us: "Don't worry, I'm with you until the mezuzah". And so it was. You flowed with our style and didn't try to impose anything else. Where you thought the direction was wrong or inappropriate, you knew, in your pleasant and gentle way, to offer better, correct and more suitable alternatives, and to explain why it was worth it this way and not otherwise. You deeply understood our needs and did everything to make everything work, even if it went beyond the formal definition of your area of responsibility. In stressful moments when we needed an immediate decision, or something didn't work out as planned, you knew how to reassure us that you would find another solution, you contained the pressure and stress, and in the end you always found an "outside the box" solution, no less good or beautiful than the original, and sometimes even more beautiful, and examples of this are often given. 3 years of planning, execution, with changes before and during construction, while adjusting to the constraints of the area, choosing everything from everything, starting from kitchen planning, through planning all the carpentry details, choosing flooring, cladding, sanitary details, wall colors, lighting from Israel and abroad, and ending with choosing colors and fabrics for the shower corner and mirrors for the showers, all with amazing control over every detail, and no less important - sticking to a defined budget.
